We started out with a decorated room and a great photo op, thanks to Bonnie, Sheila, and Sue
We put out our beautiful sign made by Karen to welcome the Treasure Hunters
.....added some fun dress-up clothes
.....we put out a few samples
And the Treasure Hunt began
We invited Jill Haglund from Tweety Jill who was kind enough to do an ATC make 'n take for all the visitors
and also the Scrapbook Guild
Check out this new guild with monthly meetings and fantastic speakers http://www.tampabayscrapbookingguild.com/home.html
plus we had Brenda from Scrapendipity Retreats promoting her Spring Fling in April at the Westshore Marriott
Check out her great events http://www.scrapendipityretreats.com/
All the Treasure Hunters got to make their 6x6 page
and, of course, have their photo taken with the infamous Captain Jack
When Captain Jack was not there, they still had fun with our Treasure Chest
It was an incredible week! We are all exhausted and ready to actually rest but it has been so great meeting new people, having fun with Captain Jack and Tweety Jill, and stamping passports. We hope that all of the Treasure Hunters will be able to come visit us again soon for a class, crop, or just to shop and hang out.
We have to thank everyone who helped out, this was a lot of work and takes a whole team to get our store ready! Thanks so much to Bonnie, Karen, Terry, Sheila, Kelly, Sue, Barbara, Brenda, and the Scrapbook Guild.
